This year I have decided to finally take up a musical instrument. Tonight my fingers are wondering why in the world I chose the guitar. Trying to stretch them and the tips being sore will be worth it.
Taking up an instrument is no different than getting married, becoming a parent or even being a Christian. In the beginning you have to start with the basics. As time goes on you learn a little more and eventually you become a better musician, spouse, parent and/or Christian. How much time and effort given will show in the results.
At 11, Bryan was full of life. He was forever smiling, making people laugh and just enjoying be a kid. Renee(Bryan’s Aunt) was a great wife, mother and full-time Christian. She didn’t just play the part like so many do, when only others were around. The ultimate example of a servant. She had the vision for kids…she was running with that vision.
Saturday morning they joined hands as this life’s journey came to an end and received the ultimate Welcome Home. To us at Grace and to their families it was a tragedy. For them, it was reaching THE goal.
September 23rd Tony Snow was scheduled open the 2008-09 American Studies Institute Distinguished Lecture Series at Harding University. When the announcement went out, I knew he was one of the speakers I wanted to hear.

WOW!! That is all I can say about my latest discovery.
I was browsing around GodTube and noticed at the bottom an ad for the 39th Dove Awards telecast. I then clicked on a video previewing the show. Low and behold there is a new channel available on Directv called the Gospel Music Channel. See for yourself on channel 338!!
They play videos of all genres: rock, pop, country, gospel & soul.
